About Nurvos

As our mantra says: "Expert Technical Advice", Nurvos wasn't designed to be a company built on a bread-basket of different pricing plans, but rather one that offers expert technical advice at an affordable price. Basically, we have two prices¹: one for businesses and one for our home users. It's that simple.

Our company structure also allows us to have flexible working hours. The ability to change our business focus, just as the technology we support changes. Flexible, nimble and enthusiastic - all words that describe our philosophy.

What's that name?

Believe it or not, we often hear: "Hey, what's with the name Nurvos?" I guess we must confess, the name wasn't entirely original, but derived from a movie released in 2001 entitled: Antitrust ».

In the movie, a fictional tale of a large multi-national software development company (sounds like our friends in Redmond) called Nurv, attempt launch a multimedia satellite by any means possible, even by some less-than legal ways.

Anyway, we liked the movie and liked the name Nurv. And wouldn't you know Nurv.com was already taken? We came up with a name very similar that really lent itself to a great design metaphor: notice how our logo resembles nerve cell?
